In those sites they use English because is a international language that helps people from all around the world to understand each others. In my opinion, that is way people from those sites share their traditions, recipes and even their personals experiences with everybody.
"Una blanca navidad" is written by a Peruvian boy that shared the Christmas tradition in Peru. He says what this holiday really means in his country and his familiars experience. He even shared a recipe at the end of his article.
The site that shared the characteristics of Thai new years showed how this fun holiday take place  It is fun because the play with water and really enjoy this celebration is something that keep the family reunited. In the site there are also pictures and videos that illustrate this tradition. There is also shared that this celebration is three days long because there are several this that thy do such as clean the house and themselves, thy should visit the temple too and of course the food is also a important aspect of the celebration.
The web page that inform about the Indian Holi festival  shows how this colorful celebration take place, its purpose is to celebrate the triumph of 'good' over 'bad'. The celebration is in may, a good time to the markets. The people throw each others colors. This holiday is celebrating with friend and family and people have a lot of fun.
