An American in Uganda (Answers)
In the "two worlds collide" story we see two different point of view. One from a white teacher, tho other one from a black worker. they both with different education, language, and culture. The white men with a lot of opportunities waiting for him, with a lot of money with the job he loves. The black man, a very poor men who have to do the same things for the rest of his life to survive.
Beside both men can talk to each other, they can't understand their behavior. The way they act has been made of their experience, the education they have, the culture they belong and in both case those things a clearly different. There are so much reasons why a miscommunication starts between those two men but the most important is how different their life perspective are.

good analysis!
ReplyDeleteI really like your point of view about the story. Still I think men should have a two face coin of culture. The first one is the one that is proper to you and in which you have grown. The other one should be the capability of respecting and understanding other are different to us.
